Kratom Differentiators:
There are three main types of Kratom: white vein, green vein and red vein Kratom. Gold vein and yellow vein Kratom have also appeared on the market, albeit far less abundant. The difference between the color strains is due to the age of the plant. White vein is the young plant, green vein is the plant as it’s maturing and red vein is the fully mature plant.
Although the three main strains of Kratom come from the same plant, the effects vary. White vein Kratom is typically energizing, uplifting and focusing. Green vein is typically euphoric, bringing positivity and chattiness. Red vein is mildly sedating, relaxing and pleasant. Within each vein, there are also many different sub-strains. One of the most popular strains is Maeng Da, coming from Thailand and translates in meaning to “pimp-grade”. Maeng Da Kratom:
Maeng Da Kratom is an extremely potent Kratom strain that comes in either white vein, green vein and red vein. The high-grade strength of Maeng Da Kratom comes from the larger volume of 7-hydroxymitragynine and mitragynine, two primary alkaloids of Kratom that produce psychoactive effects. The process of creating Maeng Da Kratom differs from standard Kratom strains due to its process of grafting, where growers would use the upper portion of the Kratom plant and grow this on a different Kratom plant’s root system, ultimately creating a new strain. White Vein Maeng Da Kratom:
White Maeng Da is typically produced through a combination of approximately 70% white-veined leaves and 30% green-veined leaves. This Kratom strain is typically said to be the most aromatic, when compared to Green Vein and Red Vein Maeng Da. White Maeng Da is typically used as a mild sedative, providing mild attention and alertness effects.
Green Vein Maeng Da Kratom:
Green Maeng Da is typically produced through a combination of approximately 20% white-veined leaves and 80% green-veined leaves. This Kratom strain is typically beginner user friendly, and one of the most popular strains available on the market. Green Maeng Da is typically used in the morning to uplift consumers’ mood and optimism throughout the day.
Red Vein Maeng Da Kratom:
Red Maeng Da is typically produced through a combination of approximately 60% red-veined leaves and 40% white-veined leaves. Generally, Red Maeng Da Kratom is extremely potent and recommended for experienced users. Effects of Red Maeng Da are said to calm consumers, while providing balance to their daily life. The combination of red-veined and white-veined leaves generally provide stress relief, antidepressant effects, while also acting as a mild stimulant.
